Plagiarism Policy
The Albanian Journal of Biomedical Sciences (AJBS) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity.
All submitted manuscripts are screened for similarity using appropriate plagiarism detection tools. Submissions must represent original work that has not been previously published or is not under consideration elsewhere.
Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:
- Direct copying of text without proper citation
- Improper paraphrasing
- Self-plagiarism or redundant publication
Manuscripts with a high level of similarity or evidence of academic misconduct will be rejected. In cases where plagiarism is identified after publication, the journal reserves the right to take appropriate action, including correction or retraction of the article.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that all sources are properly cited and that their work adheres to ethical academic standards.
