Retraction Policy
AJBS is committed to preserving the integrity of the scientific record.
Articles may be retracted when there is clear evidence of:
- Plagiarism
- Data fabrication or falsification
- Major errors that invalidate the findings
- Ethical violations in research or publication
Retraction decisions are made by the editorial team following a careful evaluation of the case and, when appropriate, consultation with authors and reviewers.
Retracted articles will remain available online to maintain the scholarly record but will be clearly marked as “Retracted” and accompanied by a retraction notice explaining the reason.
In cases of minor errors that do not compromise the overall findings, corrections or errata may be issued instead of retraction.
